The PADI Open Water Diver course is PADI’s level 2 diving class but it can be your first. No previous diving experience is necessary. This life altering class really is the key to open the doors of the SCUBA diving world for you. During the course, you will learn about the equipment, the rules, dive planning, and the core theory about SCUBA diving. This class can be completed in only 2 days. We will begin by discussing the theory behind SCUBA diving and go to a swimming pool or in confined water to practice the skills that you will need to dive safely while reinforcing the theory. Then we will go for 4 fun dives in the ocean and put those new skills to good use. Upon completion of the class, you will receive a PADI Open Water Diver certification which will enable you to plan future dives, rent equipment and dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters or 60 feet without supervision. This class normally begins in the morning at the pool and then we go for ocean dives in the early afternoon.
